Orange County lists county-office hours as Monday through Friday, 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. Jail operations do not close at 4 p.m., but records staff may not be available after office hours. Call before making an in-person records visit. Use 911 for an emergency.
- For a county booking sheet, identifying photo, current custody check, recent arrest, or release question, begin with the Orange County records hub and then contact the sheriff or jail.
- For a warrant, use the verification steps on Most Wanted Fugitives. The court or sheriff must confirm whether it remains active.
- For the final result of a criminal case, use Indiana MyCase and contact the Orange County Clerk. A booking charge is an accusation, and every person is presumed innocent unless proven guilty in court.
- For a Paoli police incident report, contact Paoli Police. Its published guidance says requests may be made in person or by phone from 6 a.m. to 4 p.m., most reports cost $10, and the requester must be named in the report or petition the town attorney. That fee does not apply automatically to sheriff booking records.
- For an Orleans report, call Orleans Police at 812-865-2222. French Lick report requests should begin with that town's police department. Neither route guarantees a jail photo.
- For a person sentenced to state custody, use the Indiana Department of Correction offender locator. Federal and immigration custody require the federal Bureau of Prisons or ICE locator.
No current sheriff booking-record or photo fee schedule was verified. Ask for an estimate, request electronic delivery when practical, and do not assume Paoli's police-report price controls a county jail request. Orange County also has not published a fixed response time.
